I hope you are all having a great day. I want to thank you for the great attendance and participation at our Small Group Leaders Meeting on Sunday. Your discussion, feedback, notes were very helpful.
Here's the leaders guide and participants guide for this coming Sundays sermon on Luke 12:35-48. This is a tough passage with a strong warning to be a faithful, prepared, and trustworthy servant of what God has entrusted you to. Please spend some time reading over it before you met with your group. Please let me know if you have any questions.
May God bless your time in your small group!

Luke 12:22-34 "The Treasure & The Heart" November 13, 2016
It is Election Day! For some, this is a day of lots of worry. If you are worrying about the election of our next president or some of the props that are up for a vote, then you need to read this passage from Luke 12:22-34. Remember that worrying about the future is incompatible with having faith in God's sovereignty. May our trust and hope be in the LORD! Take time to express the feeling in your heart and ask God to help you live in faith!
Here's the leaders and participants guide for this upcoming Sunday's sermon. I look forward to seeing you there!
God bless you all and thanks so much for your commitment to your small groups and the church. You are valuable and we appreciate you so much!

Luke 12:13-21 "The Rich Fool" November 6, 2016
Greetings everyone! I hope you are enjoying the crisp cool weather and we wish Pastor Ray a happy 50th birthday today!
Here's the next small group discussion on Luke 12:13-21 which is about coveting. In this story two brothers are arguing about how to divide their inheritance and try to get Jesus involved. Instead, Jesus tells a parable about a rich farmer who acts foolishly because he is rich towards himself and not rich towards God.
I hope you enjoy your conversation.
Here's a participants guide if it is helpful for you.
Please remember to RSVP for the small group leaders meeting on November 13 after church. A lunch will be served as we talk and learn together.

Continuning Luke 11:5-12 this coming Sunday
Hi leaders and facilitators,
This Sunday, we will continue Luke 11:1-13 (The Lord's Prayer) and Pastor Ray will focus on verses 5-13.
Since most of you meet every other week, I will not make a new discussion guide as the last one covers all these verses.
If however, you meet each week and need some new material, please let me know and I'll help you out.
Have a great week and as always, let me know how I can pray for your groups!

Hi folks, here is the new discussion guide for this past Sunday's sermon on Luke 9:1-9, The Internship.
Have fun discussing with your group and help people find their calling and place as a disciple whose desire is to expand God's Kingdom.
I used Two Ways To Live to explain the gospel. There are several ways to do it, but his is clear and easy to understand. Be prepared in case people have questions on the gospel. Remember there is a free app they can download too.
Thanks for all you do!
I'll be praying for you this week.

Journey of Faith Leader's Guide-Week 4 (Courage) March 13, 2016
Hi small group leaders, here is the forth of four sermon discussions on the Journey of Faith mini-series. Thanks for joining us during this month long journey.
While we did not raise enough money to purchase the building, it was a great step for us to take and follow God wherever he leads. We are confident that our journey continues and we are not sure where it will take us, but we are excited about the process. We will still continue to raise funds to keep in our capital account to be ready when the day come.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Have a great week and let me know when I can meet up with you for breakfast or lunch to hear about your group. I value all of you and am so thankful for all you do!

The Journey Of Faith Small Group Leader's Guide-Sunday, February 21, 2016
Last Sunday (Feb. 21), Pastor Ray started a new mini-series entitled, A Journey Of Faith. He will spend the next 4 weeks talking about this journey of faith as we are considering purchasing a building in Fullerton. Here's the Leaders Guide for you to download and review. There is no Participants Guide.
I hope it is helpful as you lead your small group in this journey. Remember that the goal is not a building or facility. The goal is to walk with Jesus no matter where he leads us. If he is leading our church to this property, that is great. If he is leading us somewhere else, that is great too! We need you to pray and seek the Lord as we move forward in unity and peace!
