Luke 12:22-34 "The Treasure & The Heart" November 13, 2016

It is Election Day!  For some, this is a day of lots of worry. If you are worrying about the election of our next president or some of the props that are up for a vote, then you need to read this passage from Luke 12:22-34. Remember that worrying about the future is incompatible with having faith in God's sovereignty. May our trust and hope be in the LORD! Take time to express the feeling in your heart and ask God to help you live in faith!

Luke 12:13-21 "The Rich Fool" November 6, 2016

Greetings everyone!  I hope you are enjoying the crisp cool weather and we wish Pastor Ray a happy 50th birthday today!

Here's the next small group discussion on Luke 12:13-21 which is about coveting. In this story two brothers are arguing about how to divide their inheritance and try to get Jesus involved. Instead, Jesus tells a parable about a rich farmer who acts foolishly because he is rich towards himself and not rich towards God.

Mother's Day Message: A Mama's Boy (1 Samuel 16:7)

This coming Sunday, Pastor Dave Jung will be preaching a message he has received form his mother when he was growing up. He'll be preaching on God's message to Samuel to not look on the outside, but look inside to what God sees in a person. This will be a great reminder as to seeing with the eyes of God.

Journey of Faith Leader's Guide-Week 4 (Courage) March 13, 2016

Hi small group leaders, here is the forth of four sermon discussions on the Journey of Faith mini-series. Thanks for joining us during this month long journey.
While we did not raise enough money to purchase the building, it was a great step for us to take and follow God wherever he leads. We are confident that our journey continues and we are not sure where it will take us, but we are excited about the process. We will still continue to raise funds to keep in our capital account to be ready when the day come.

The Journey Of Faith Small Group Leader's Guide-Sunday, February 21, 2016

Last Sunday (Feb. 21), Pastor Ray started a new mini-series entitled, A Journey Of Faith.  He will spend the next 4 weeks talking about this journey of faith as we are considering purchasing a building in Fullerton. Here's the Leaders Guide for you to download and review. There is no Participants Guide.

I hope it is helpful as you lead your small group in this journey. Remember that the goal is not a building or facility. The goal is to walk with Jesus no matter where he leads us. If he is leading our church to this property, that is great. If he is leading us somewhere else, that is great too! We need you to pray and seek the Lord as we move forward in unity and peace!
