Hi Small Group Leaders,
I hope you are enjoying summer and the beautiful weather.
This coming Sunday we'll delve into Psalm 27 which is a psalm about being confident in God's presence and protection during dark moments in life. I think you'll enjoy reading and discussing this psalm.
Here's the Discussion Guide.
Thank you very much.

June 24, 2018 The Good Shepherd Psalm 23
Small Group Leaders,
This coming Sunday, Pastor Ray will attempt to preach an iconic psalm that has deep emotional feelings for many people. One reason this psalm is so popular is because it is full of imagery and easy for people to see themselves being cared for by God.
May your discussions be fruitful and a blessing to many.
My prayers are with you this week! Let me know if there is anything I can specifically lift up for you.

June 17, 2018 Psalm 19 The Heaven's and the Law
Hi everyone,
We will study Psalm 19 this summer. This was my grandfather's favorite Psalm. As a child, I would hear Grandpa Oscar read it in his thick Swedish accent to me and I always remember of him when I read this Psalm. This is a great Psalm that includes General Revelation (what everyone can know about God by seeing nature) and Special Revelation (what God reveals through the Holy Spirit in his Word).
Please enjoy this study and may it speak to your heart! I would encourage you to memorize v. 14 as I say it nearly every morning as I start my day.

June 10, 2018 Psalm 8 Standing In Awe of Unexpected Grace
Hi everyone,
I hope you have been enjoying the Psalms as we kicked off a new series last week. I want to encourage you to read the Psalms this summer.
If you read 5 a day, you can be done in one month.
If you read about 12 a week, you can be done by the end of the summer.
Here's the discussion for Psalm 8 coming up on this Sunday. I hope you enjoy "track 2" of the greatest hits!

June 3, 2018 Psalm 1 The Way to Find Happiness
Hi Small Group Leaders,
It is almost summer time and I'm ready for sunny weather and long afternoons.
On June 3, we start our Summer Series called Songs For the Summer: The greatest hits. it will be a summer series on the Book of Psalms. We are choosing 13 of the greatest Psalms and will teach on a different one each week.
This Sunday we start with Psalm 1: The Way to Find Happiness.
I did not include a participants guide and I did not give the "answers" this week. I'm sorry...it was a wee bit busy!
God bless your week and you are in my prayers!
Blessings.
